Product Description

The original high performance penetrating sealer protects medium to dense porous stone surfaces against moisture and staining without altering the natural look of stone, tile, grout & masonry surfaces. Miracle Sealants 511 Impregnator Sealer in a 1-quart container will help protect your expensive interior or exterior natural marble, granite, grouted tile and concrete floors. Featuring a high-tech polymerized silicone formula, 511 Impregnator Sealer creates an invisible barrier to resist moisture damage while still allowing vapor to escape the porous surface.

Your stone tile will be protected against stains, UV damage, acid rain, freeze/thaw damage, alkalis, acids and salt ion intrusion. Use 511 Impregnator to improve slip resistance and seal concrete, quarry tile, ceramic tile, porcelain tile, glazed tile, marble, granite, travertine, slate, quartz, brick, terrazzo and grout. Non-yellowing 511 Impregnator Sealer can be applied before or after grouting tile. It provides excellent slip-resistance and is best used as a sealant on medium to dense porous surfaces. Ideal for commercial and residential use on both indoor and outdoor applications, including food handling areas, showers, restrooms, patios and driveways.

Miracle 511 Impregnator Sealer covers a wide range of square footage, 125 to 1,000 square feet per quart, depending upon the type of surface to which it is applied. Coverage of 511 Impregnator is better and covers more area than that of comparable products made by other brands. Impregnator 511 is available to buy in this one quart container or, for smaller jobs, in a 1-pint size. Read entire label and PDS/MSDS before using. 511 Impregnator should not be diluted or thinned in any way. Use as is direct from approved container.

Directions for New Installations
Before Grouting: Apply 511 Impregnator to all surfaces prior to grouting. This allows for quick and easy cleanup after grouting. (Grout can stain many surfaces if this procedure is not used prior to the grouting process.) Apply 511 Impregnator using a Mira Brush or a clean towel. Apply enough to wet the surface. Be careful not to saturate the open grout joints. Allow 511 Impregnator to stand for approximately 3 to 5 minutes for maximum penetration. All excess must be removed at this time by buffing surface with a clean dry towel. This is very important on polished, glazed and porcelain surfaces. Allow to cure for 6 to 12 hours before continuing with the grouting procedure.
After Grouting: Once grouted, make sure that all grout residue is removed from the surface with a clean sponge and water. Allow grout to cure per grout manufacturer's specification. If grout clean-up is not performed effectively, an additional cleaning may be necessary to remove remaining grout residue or haze. For this procedure use Phosphoric Acid Cleaner, Heavy Duty Acidic Cleaner or Epoxy Grout Film Remover, following the instructions carefully. Once the area has completely dried, proceed with the sealing of the grout for water and stain resistance. Apply 511 Impregnator to all grout with a paint brush. Any excess sealer that gets on the surface should be wiped off with a clean towel before it dries. On larger jobs, grout can be sealed by retreating the entire area including the tile or stone surface a second time. Be careful not to allow the sealer to puddle or dry on pre-sealed surfaces.

Directions for Existing Installations
Existing Installation Surface Preparation: Surface must be dry and free of contaminants, including previously applied sealers, dirt, lime and hard water deposits, efflorescence, rust and other heavy dirt and grime.
Surface Coating/Wax Removal: To remove existing coatings and/or waxes, use Mira Strip or Finish Sealer Stripper as directed.
Heavy Duty Cleaning: To remove lime and hard water deposits, efflorescence, rust, grease and other heavy dirt and grime use Heavy Duty Acidic Cleaner or Phosphoric Acid Cleaner as directed. For a non-acid deep clean, use Liquid Poultice as directed.
Light Cleaning: Use Tile & Stone Cleaner, Porcelain & Ceramic Tile Cleaner, Limestone/Travertine Soap, Counter Kleen as directed.
Existing Installation Application Instructions: Follow the application instructions previously mentioned, except now, seal the grout and tile or stone surfaces at the same time. When treating surfaces together, make sure that the recessed grout is saturated.
Residue Removal: To remove accumulated 511 Impregnator residue, use Miracle Residue Remover as directed.
Color and Gloss Enhancement: For color and gloss enhancement, use Mira Matte or High-Gloss Finish Sealer as directed.
Cure Time: Will be dry to the touch in 1 to 3 hours and may be used for normal foot traffic. For optimum results the area should be kept dry and free from staining materials for 72 hours.

  • On very porous or difficult surfaces, use 511 Porous Plus.
  • For questions concerning grout, refer to the grout manufacturer's specifications.
  • Due to the differences of each substrate, several inconspicuous test patches should be completed to assure maximum performance. User must determine suitability of the product for their intended use.
  • 511 Impregnator has been used successfully for compliance with the American Disability Act's recommendations for slip resistance (ASTM C 1028-89) on polished & honed surfaces.
  • Protect neighboring surfaces including wood, carpet, metal, landscaping and other non-masonry surfaces.
