Spartan High Frontier® Thermoplastic Floor Coating 4012, 5 Gallon Pail

Ultra high-speed thermoplastic floor coating yields a high-shine, “wet look” gloss when buffed. Formulated for use in aggressive buffing programs where a very high-gloss is desired. A quick high speed buff each day in high traffic areas dramatically enhances the overall gloss and appearance. Extremely durable finish. 20% solids.

For Use On: Resilient floors that will be part of an aggressive buffing program and where a very high-gloss is desired.

Directions For Use:

Initial Application:

1. Completely strip all old wax or floor finish. Depending upon build-up, use hot water and a Spartan Stripper.
2. Remove all stripping solution and follow with two to three clear water rinses. Allow to dry.
3. Apply two coats of a Spartan Seal.
4. Apply three uniform coats of High Frontier. Let each coat dry 30 minutes or until surface is completely dry to the touch. Apply subsequent coats in the same manner. May be buffed when completely dry. FOR BEST RESULTS, ALLOW HIGH FRONTIER TO DRY AND CURE FOR 24 HOURS BEFORE BUFFING. Gloss and depth dramatically improve with more coats.

Maintenance:

• Routine: Dust floor and damp mop with Spartan Damp Mop Neutral Cleaner. Dry buff. Dust mop.
• Periodic: Dust floor and damp mop with Spartan Damp Mop Neutral Cleaner.
• As Needed: Deep scrub and recoat; or completely strip, reseal and reapply floor finish.

Notes:

Pad Recommendations: Depth and amount of gloss will vary depending upon type of pad and machine used. For best results, use a 2000+ rpm machine and a natural fiber pad for restoring badly worn floors or a white synthetic pad for polishing to an ultra high gloss.

For best results always use Spartan floor cleaners and strippers.

Coverage:
Up to 3,000 square feet per gallon depending on application method and porosity of floor.
Gloss (Gardner): 1 coat: 80–85; 2 coats: 90–95
Static coefficient of friction meets or exceeds 0.5 as determined by the ASTM method D2047.
