Hartco Pattern Plus Shine Remover is for removing Hartco Pattern Plus shine or Hartco Spray Shield from Oak Hartco (Acrylic Impregnated) hardwood floors that do not have the Permion finish. Do not use on Maple floors.

Directions:

1. Shake the Hartco Pattern Plus Shine Remover well and pour some into a paint roller pan.

2. Soak a clean applicator in the Pattern Plus Shine Remover, and squeeze out the excess liquid. For best results use a Bona X Applicator pad. Spread an even amount of Pattern Plus Shine Remover over a small area of the floor (3'x3'). Do not leave puddles. Allow the Hartco Pattern Plus Shine Remover to stand for one minute.

3. Buff the area with remover applied using a slow Speed commercial buffer and a black nylon stripper pad (Equivalent to a 3M blackpad).

4. Repeat Step 3 if removal is not complete.

5. Move to a new area and continue until the entire floor has been stripped.

6. Allow the floor to completely dry. Check for areas in which stripping may not have been satisfactory. These areas will appear as shiny spots on a floor that is now otherwise dull.

7. When all the Hartco Pattern Plus Shine or Hartco Spray Shield has been removed, allow the floor to dry. Sweep or vacuum the floor to remove loosened dirt or lint.

8. To renew color and to accent the grain, apply one or more thin coats of Hartco Spray Tone. Follow the instructions on the Hartco Spray Tone label. Allow to dry for 24 hours. The flooring units can be walked on during this drying period if all residual excess has been removed and the floor has been hand or machine buffed.

9. Apply Hartco Pattern Plus Shine or Hartco Spray Shield according to instructions for maximum enhancement of the beauty of your Hartco Hartguard floor.
