1.       Sweep, vacuum or dust mop your Hartco Wood Floor.

2.       Mist the area to be cleaned with Armstrong Wood and Laminate Cleaner and wipe with a clean Bona Microfiber mop.

3.       For Hartco Pattern-Plus and Hartco Pattern-Plus 5000 floors without the Hartco Permion finish, apply Hartco Pattern-Plus Shine.

 Hartco Wood Floor Routine Care:

1.       Sweep, vacuum or dust mop your Hartco wood floor as needed.

2.       Wipe up spills with Hartco Easy Clean. For large areas, mist Armstrong Wood Cleaner and wipe with the Bona x Microfiber mop.

3.       For Hartco Pattern-Plus and Hartco Pattern Plus 5000 floors without the Hartco Permion finish, apply Hartco Pattern-Plus Shine as needed (2-4 times per year).

• Mats at all entrances help keep dirt and moisture from being tracked in.
• Area rugs are recommended in front of kitchen sinks. Do not use rugs with solid rubber or vinyl backings.
• Never damp mop with water. It may permanently damage the floor.
• Do not walk on your Hartco wood floor with worn out stiletto or spike heels.
• Do not roll or slide heavy objects directly upon the Hartco floor.
• Pet claws may scratch Hartco hardwood floors.
• Maintain proper climate controls. A temperature of 70° F (21° C)and relative humidity of 35% to 50% are ideal.

Use Floor D-fender floor protectors on the feet of furniture to avoid scratches.

 

Hartco Wood Floor Stain Removal

Water Spots :

• Remove with a soft cloth dampened with Hartco Easy Clean.

Food Spills:

• Clean promptly with Hartco Easy Clean.

Rubber Heel Marks, Crayon, Gum or Asphalt Deposits:

• Dampen a clean cloth with Hartco Wipe Clean and rub to remove.

Scratches

For light scratches or color loss on Hartco Acrylic Impregnated floors without Hartco Permion finish, apply Hartco Spray Tone. To repair deep scratches on Hartco Acrylic Impregnated floors without Hartco Permion finish, lightly abrade with 00 steel wool or 400 grit sandpaper; then apply Hartco Spray Tone. Repairs may also be made by replacing individual slats or units.
